Nolden 7" round Bi-LED headlight review!

Did you see my post earlier? I have all the data, I just have no idea what the heck it means.
Data should be goinometer/isoplater derived and have a series of numbers corresponding to the plats.
There can also be a graphic representation of the data.

I'm sure it is. I have it in a pdf.
I didn't see any graphs but will look again.

The graphics could look something like these:

I looked back through the pdf of photometric data and no graphics like those, just lots and lots of data and figures.

For the G's, I did confirm W460 fitment however! Will post pics soon with a headlight bucket part number to confirm your W460 has the correct buckets.

Thanks for the heads up and review. I keep thinking I should upgrade the lights on my Mog but the JW Speakers are pretty spendy while the Trucklites are unobtanium up here. At least now I have a third choice which might finally get me to pull the trigger.:coffee:

Do you have parts for trucks up your way? I got my trucklites from there. great price too! worth every penny!

Cool; thanks.
It shows that they're adequate but not barn-burners.
How much are they retail? It would be neat to actually test them.

How do they compare to graphics of JW Speakers or Trucklites?

Well if you're in Europe they're about 1300euro/pair or so. In the USA, about $700/pair.

Well we have one Defender fitted with JW Speaker 8700, and another fitted with the Noldens. These are our daily drive vehicles.

The Noldens are by far the better headlight in our driving experience.

JW Speaker has a calculated light output of 760 lumens

Nolden has a measured light output of 1700 lumens

JW Speaker has an Ingress Protection rating of IP67

Nolden has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP6K9K

The Nolden rating is a German extension of the standard IP rating and includes a high temperature 80C jet wash at 80 bar.

So both on paper and in practise the Noldens are the better headlight.

Thanks for your firsthand feedback Brendan!

Not trying to yank your chain but what do you mean by "measured light output"?
What did you measure it with? Where? How?
Lumen measurement is a tricky science. I'd withhold judgement until I see the LUX on targets that I place and measure myself.
Never ever believe your eyes. Ever. And never believe the literature from a manufacturer. Especially one like that Nolden that isn't exactly an industry leader...
