Just checked on Amazon, the batteries I bought are now $358.79
After more research Im going to go your route of 3 LiTime 140's. I have reviewed the Renogy 2000W/3000W manual. Looks like the programing simple for most but as stated Im not that savy on any of this. Your help would be appreciated. Manual states to go to Program 5, set to b-0, then Prg 94 & set to ALb Lithium, then to Prg 26 to set max charge voltage range 13 to 15.5V. Set what?, then Prg 27 for low voltage range 12 to 14V, set to what?
Is there more? How do I remove batteries? Remove shelf/ drawer above? Thanks

There are some YouTube vids on it, it's not hard just sounds hard. I was able to do it

Down load the manual at Renogy.

You also need to reprogram the solar controller, same deal check YouTube, it's not hard.

If you want Bluetooth your there may as well order one of those also, it's literally plug and play, get one off amazon.

Are your batters under the bench or the bed? My rig is a gen one mine were under the bed. It was simple. Pop the extensions, slide the mattress out of the way, pull the deck boards out. Unbolt the battery retaining bar, unbolt the batteries (tape the cable ends w some electrical tape so there is no oppsie). Set new battery in, hook up cable just like there were and reset the bar.

Then reprogram the stuff.

If your batteries are under the bench, it's basically the same but I'm not sure if parts of the bench have to come out for access.

My batteries are under the bench seat. Lift the seat bottom, move the seat back, & lift up the cover, voila! Make sure you clean the connections on the cables real well, the amount of resistance between dirty & clean connections would blow your mind. I have a genuine rocket-scientist friend that works for a major defense contractor as an electrical engineer dept head, and he was the one who explained all the differences lithium vs AGM, as well as resistance stuff, pretty incredible. But Josh is correct, search YouTube for some videos, & download your inverter/charger owner's manual, as well as the solar controller manual, & you should be good to go. Once you get surfing around the settings menu of the inverter, it'll start to make sense. If you get stuck, sure I'll try to help all I can, if I can.

The batteries are under the cabinet across from the bench. Not under the bed. See pic. Looks like I might have to remove some of the shelving and drawers.20250709_105702.jpg

Oh that’s interesting never seen them there. The rear shelf screws are under the stickers. Pull the drawer out of the other side.

i would pull the door off undo the bar and battery then see if you can tip it horizontally and slide it out.

I am placing order today. I checked Amazon pricing on the LiTime 140ah and it shows $389. However, In my viewing I notice they are showing a newer model, same size but 4# heavier a 165ah for $ 356. Would this still just replace old agm's with the existing inverter, controller, etc same as the 140s? Also, do I need the 20amp Lithium charger they recommend?
More bang for your buck!

I have the charger, but I don't take it with us. It's only to charge the batteries if I remove them from the trailer. That deal sounds great 165AH for only $365, go for it!!! I think the existing inverter/charger will work fine after you change the settings for the new batteries.

Thanks for info. I finally got response from LiTime support stating my Renogy 2000/3000 should work fine as long as I can reprogram to Li and set charger to 14.2 to 14.6 of which it can. Support lady gave me additional 8% discount . Total cost $1083. $361 each including shipping which was free. I went direct to LiTime. Now I need to get batteries out. I think I will post a b4 and after of their location. I can easily remove shelf on rt side. But left i have to remove the drawer support board that will prevent taking them up and over. Not sure uf I can unscrew battery from floor and tilt and pull out with support board in place. I will try to not remove board. Thanks for help.

Can you take a pic of the interior of your camper? The reason I ask is if your city water and main water fill port connections are on the same side of the camper as your LITHIUM batteries are, you need to make absolutely sure that your interior water connections have been tightened and or sealed to prevent any water leak from contacting your Lithium batteries.

From the entrance of D15 looking toward the bed, the batteries are on the left. One in 1st cabinet and 2 in next cabinet(see pics). In reading instructions it states to dicconnect solar panels prior to disconnecting batteries. That doesn't look to difficult. However, camper is under carport. Is it really necessary to disconnect the solar panels?

See prev post pics. Batteries on left side, no water close by. I'm kind of leary sleeping on top of propane gas fired heater and lithium batteries right next to bed and escape route.

Got my 3 New LiTime 165ah LifePO4 lithium batteries today. Reading the instructions and manual before install I have a few questions. I knew the batteries would come in around 50% and needed to be fully charged prior to install. I bought a cheap charger off Amazon that will do the Lithium. It will do 8amps on medium & 16 on high. Manual says charge from 14.2 to 14.6. Should I use this on 8 or 16? LiTime had a 20amp for sale so Im confused. Next question is the manual states batteries should be mounted in an adequate ventilated area. Since these are inside the closed up cabinets do I need to drill some holes for ventilation in bottom of cabinet? Only ventilation will be the large hole that wires go thru the walls between Batt 1- Batt 2&3- and under the bed.
Finally, manual states twice that a trained and certified technician should do the install and maintenance. I am not that guy but can perform DIY stuff with guidance and research. I know a lot of Warnings etc are for Lawyers.
Thanks, Alan
