11/07/10 - BIG NEWS.
I am pleased to announce the formation of XpoTRAIL© Extreme off-road campers. My partner in this endeavor, a fellow Expo'r and I have been working hard over the past 4 months to get this trailer moving. So much so, we are now a sponsor on Expo Portal! :wings:
As of today, the following has been completed in the process:
- Design & detailing completed
- Fabricating partners selected (main cabin, trailer frame, & tent)
- Parts suppliers selected
- website is currently being designed
Due to the overwhelmingly positive response we have received, we have switched gears and will be producing a single prototype for marketing and testing. Going this route allows us to accelerate the testing phase and prepare for production sooner. We fully intend on participating in national and regional shows and gatherings. Look for us in the coming months.
Thanks to all for the feedback and kudos. Your positive influence has been fantastic. As of this post, I will be starting a new thread that will follow the build of the 1st trailer.

We are hoping so. There are a couple last hurdles to overcome. Namely trying to get a proper window manufacturer in line. They have been proving difficult to work with. They are the last item on the list.

Great news Chad! I actually met your partner this weekend and talked shop for a while. I got to see some of his work on his truck and must say that I was VERY impressed. It was absolutely first class. He is extremely knowledgeable and I was truly amazed by the details of his shop. I have very high expectations for these trailers and can't wait to see one soon!
