We took a little adventure up north to the promise land to score some choice beverages this past week! The trip was just a short mid-week beer run, but the bounty was plentiful! :)

Expo JK and Heady Topper... it's pretty much like heaven, I think.

Love the rig and wish I was on the East Coast to still score some of that brew!

And finally when I arrived home, the snow was rocker deep

Wow the snow is crazy! If it snowed like this in Texas we would all be done for. :Wow1:

How does the engine handle in the snow/ cold. Is the AEV hood preventing it from keeping heat or is that even a real issue?

I noticed that in one of your pictures you had the max tracks on the ground where are you stuck in that spot or were you just testing the max tracks?

It didn't seem like a lot of snow in that exact spot so I was surprised to see em.

How do those tires do in the snow?

The BFG KM2's are okay at normal speeds in snow, but IMO work really well in deep snow at slow speeds. My next tire choice may be a set of BFG KO2's though since I find myself taking longer roadtrips more and more.

The AEV H/R hood doesn't slow the engine from warming up particularly, but assists in the efficiency of the cooling system and its ability to move air out of the engine bay.

I typically remote start my JK and it is at operating temp within 5-7 mins of idling and the needle never moves off the "half way" mark.

Most people here in NJ have not seen snow like this in 10+ years, it was interesting to say the least :)
