I got to switch out my prototype brackets for some James Baroud USA aluminum awning mounts. These will allow a set Rigid Industries SR-M lights to be mounted under the James Baroud 6.5' Awning for camp lighting!

We also have Cigarette harness for those who would like lighting but not drilling of the roof of their rig. :) More to come!

My fiancé and I took a little road trip up to Vermont this past week. It was a great chance to put the Rubicon to work and get out and play! :) For this trip we would not be towing an Xventure trailer behind (our's was headed to the Mid-Atlantic festival) so the JK would be self contained. We fit our display James Baroud E-Space roof top tent up on the AEV rack system. This new 2015 model JB tent has the new mesh design that allows for even more windows and ventilation. Awesome stuff!

Because we are headed to Vermont, we had a few craft beer spots we had to stop in. To bring home enough for friends and ourselves I snagged a rental ARB 50qt from the shop as well. Now my JK only has a single battery (odyssey pc1220) and i know that it handles my engel MT45 and awning lights without a problem, but two fridges overnight scared me. The last thing you want to wake up to is a stone dead battery! To remedy this for this trip, I used a GoalZero Yeti-400 as a temp "dual battery". The yeti would charge off the JK's AC inverter while driving each day (5 hours 0 to full charge) and power the ARB fridge constantly along with awning lights at night.

This Goal Zero setup worked out great for keeping the ARB 50qt fridge powered and running the pair of Rigid Industries SR-M awning lights for about 3-4 hours per night. The battery level actually never dropped below 60% according to the display. :beer: To fit our clothing and additional gear, we folded down the rear seats and I laid down a "track mat" basically a 1" thick foam mat to help protect the seat back. There is a great amount of room in JKU's that they rarely get credit for! haha

Among the places we stopped on our Vermont road trip were;

The Warren Store (for some provisions :beer:)

The rock ledge directly across is about a 10ft jump into crystal clear 20ft deep pool, does it get any better?

The next stop before setting up camp was the Prohibition Pig in nearby Waterbury for some awesome local brews and grub. Nothing like wings, burgers and Heady Topper on the side!

Looks like a good time! Love those Saltas on there, and the whole setup you have. Agree with you on the space when you fold the back seats down, there's so much more room!
