Tons of respect for what you did without even taking the short timeframe into respect.

Stuff can always be tweaked here and there!

I look forward to seeing more about your trailers.

random thought.. What about a toy hauler version? Maybe move the kitchen to the front w/ pull out slides. Then the rear hatch fold down for a ramp. Haul dirt bikes and atv in it.

Again just random thoughts.

I just saw this trailer in person. All I can say is WOW!!!! They are open to input and are wlling to listen to your thoughts. I had nothing to share since them seem to have covered or are in the process of addressing design changes. I am looking forward to seeing the next evolution of the TDK.

Saw the trailer at the Off Road Expo in Pomona and it looks even better and more impressive (and larger) in person.

There is a sleeping area inside and forward of that is a good sized pass through (2-sided access) storage compartment.

As I shared with the guy I spoke to, they need to make one Jeep sized as this one's rather large.

I was incredibly impressed as well with this rig when I saw it at the expo! I will be following very closely the further development of this trailer and it's other future variants. One of this will definitely be my next trailer.

I love the trailer, it is awesome. My wife and I are very interested in seeing what you come up with after all these suggestions pour in. We would also like to throw out some ideas of what we are looking for in a trailer. We are anxious to see your high top version of this trailer. That is the one that has peaked our interest. We have looked at the pictures of the Off Grid high top version and like the extra room, however we do not like the kitchen design of the Off Grid version. We would also like to see a little wider version of the trailer, like others we would like to see a version that comes over the wheel wells. This could incorporate additional storage cubbies inside the sleeping compartment that could be opened when in bed or through the main doors from outside the trailer. They would be the same height as the mattress, one on each side as a "HIS and HER" setup. These cubbies could be accessed by opening the main side doors and they would be right at waist height. This would be perfect for a change of boots, rifle, etc. The personal items that are wanted without needing to crawl inside the trailer to access the storage compartments above the foot of the bed.
I would also like to know the overall dimensions of the trailer, It is mentioned that the overall height of the low roof is 76 inches, thus making the high top version 88 inches? I did not see the the overall length and width of the trailer. I could take a guess at around 90 inches wide? (walls at 1.625x2, plus 60 inch interior, plus 13 tires x 2 come out to 89.25). My tow rig is a F150 with a camper shell and larger tires, my dimensions are 82 inches high and 80 inches wide so the hightop version sounds very enticing to us, the trailer would be a good match.
Another thing we have talked about is a California King size bed (72x84 inches). Now I understand this is getting a little crazy but I will mention this in case any others are looking for one also. Right now it is my wife myself and our dog in our adventures. We have been sleeping on a queen sized mattress in the bed of the truck on a sleeping platform over the wheel wells of the truck. In our discussions on the next phase of our life we are trying to weigh our options. A california king mattress should provide enough space for 2 adults and a child and a dog. At least for a few years. So if you could extend the body over the wheel wells and then make a sleeping platform that would fit a California king (72x84) over the wheel wells. I understand this would take away interior height but would imagine it coming close to the low top version of the trailer. The space under the bed could also be made into some sort of storage compartment, maybe for fresh water or slide out drawers under the doors to the sleeping quarters.
P.S. We also like the fact of the windowless doors. If I'm dragging this thing down a tight two tracker I like the idea of the smaller windows mounted higher. Any way we love what the trailer is looking like and are anxious to see what the final trailers look like and what other ideas people can come up with.
Thanks

Would love that idea. We have two dogs and we could use the extra space. We don't hit hard core trails but love to get out and venture off the beaten path. The wider

Thanks for dropping by Dan and taking a look at our trailers !

When you say we need to make a Jeep-sized trailer, we can :) (we can make any size trailer for that matter) Other trailer builder's most popular size is 60 inches wide to allow for a queen bed and this is the feedback we have heard from our customers as well.

We are going to make some tweaks to our prototype based on feedback we got from the expo and begin a production run in the next 6 weeks. We had enough interest from the expo that it makes sense to crank out 5-10 units for ease of production and short build time.

We are happy to construct a Jeep-sized trailer for you Dan; just give us a call and we can spec out exactly what you want.

Thanks !

Hello WCK, thanks for offering up your comments.

As you can imagine, any trailer or camper manufacturer has to consider market demand for their products when developing models that will be produced for sale. This of course limits the number of variants as it is an important factor to help keep production costs and sales price lower for consumers. While we don't have to adopt Henry Ford's philosophy about production, (You can have any color you want as long as it's black) we do have to limit the models we will offer for standard production units.

- California King? sure, no problem
- Wider, cabin placed over wheel wells? sure, we can do it
- Cubbies reachable from the outside, under bed storage, 5' height? sure, easy to design
- Zombie Apocalypse Perimeter Security Lasers? easy, I already have them in place at my bunker!

....all kidding aside, "If you can dream it, OEV can build it"

Give us a call WCK, we would be happy to discuss your build...
