People have asked what OEV's parent company LITE Industries is all about. Here is a very small cross section of LITE's builds:

I had the privilege of checking out the trailer in person at the expo. The fit and finish is superb. It looks really clean, simple, and strong. The closer you look, the more trick details you find and the more you appreciate the thought that went into the design.

Hello WCK, thanks for offering up your comments.

As you can imagine, any trailer or camper manufacturer has to consider market demand for their products when developing models that will be produced for sale. This of course limits the number of variants as it is an important factor to help keep production costs and sales price lower for consumers. While we don't have to adopt Henry Ford's philosophy about production, (You can have any color you want as long as it's black) we do have to limit the models we will offer for standard production units.

- California King? sure, no problem
- Wider, cabin placed over wheel wells? sure, we can do it
- Cubbies reachable from the outside, under bed storage, 5' height? sure, easy to design
- Zombie Apocalypse Perimeter Security Lasers? easy, I already have them in place at my bunker!

....all kidding aside, "If you can dream it, OEV can build it"

Give us a call WCK, we would be happy to discuss your build...

Thanks for the response. I fully understand the reality of only building what the mainstream market demands to keep cost down for the average consumer. I was merely throwing out ideas that my wife and I have had to gauge if others had similar ideas or wants. I wanted to see if enough others would chime in and make it justifiable to build a larger version or if others had better ideas that the manufacturer could take into consideration. We would not be in the position to have a fully customized one off unit built to our specs. We would love that, but we would like to take advantage of that lower consumer price on a standardized unit produced for the masses. Excited to see the high top version!
Thanks

Finally, some interior pics..... Queen memory foam mattress, USB ports, cig lighter receptacle, and LED cabin lights

Just to add this as well. The pillows are actually staged at the FOOT of the bed. We did this because of the tons on people that were looking AND crawling into the cabin to check out the interior and mattress. The HEAD of the bed is situated at the end with the doors and controls/lights.

^^^^^^^

Hmmm, the thousand or so people at the Off Road Expo thought the interior was sweet; easy to clean and maintain, and perfect for overlanding/off road duty

However, we can hook you up with any interior finishes your designer can spec out for you !

Might consider a small hatch to access the forward storage from the inside. To reach the guns. :)

Also, in those pics, the pillows are to the rear. If that's correct, then the electrical and lights would seem to be at the wrong end. Shouldn't there be some power ports near that flat shelf, since that's where the phones will be sitting and charging at night?

I know, quickie prototype. Not complaining, just saying.

I'm 6'4". I can see myself climbing in headfirst and exiting feet first and not even trying to to turn around. Just seems to me that maybe the pillows are in the right place. After all...that's where the headboard is...

But whatever, I realize you can build it any way the customer likes.

And the forward hatch suggestion wasn't specifically about guns. Let me rephrase...perhaps a hatch to access the forward storage comparrment to reach the case of wine. :)

Okay wait...

On a phone, staring at the pic with the light in my face, I see something I didn't see before...

There appears to be a cubby inset into the wall up near the roof.

Ah..okay. Now I get it.
