The spin stops here:victory:

Can you tell what the tire size is on this G-Wagen (from your 04-27-2009 post at Expedition Expo in Prescott, AZ 2009)? I like the setup and was hoping to do the same on my G-Wagen. I looked through the posts and didn't see it referenced. Thanks.

That post was by an owner who is on P3 so you could ask him. He uses same name there. I'd guess 285/75x16 which is right at 32.5" in the BFG AT model shown.

Thanks! The magic of the 85mm 1.2L (shot at about 2.0)

I think Karl and Harold both run the 295/75 R16. Pretty unique size, and nearly 34" tall. I ran them on my Tacoma.

I am working on 16" wheels and 255/85 R16 tires for a trail set

Yes those are the 295's in AT version. I am pretty sure Karl went to 285 when he changed over to the MT tires, still with the spacers.

Scott,
you need to foil the headlight covers black to fully mimic a 460 - would improve looks, - and off-road perf.

Spent the week at Gunsite with the 463 and XVenture in tow. Still running flawless and a pleasure for daily driver responsibilities.

Now I need to plan a longer trip

Wow!

Truck looks great, Scott! I just love that G's understated look ... and incomparable brawn.

Looking for another trip? Then I'll invite you to experience Heart of the West Adventure Route... my 2,800-mile SUV/moto, largely dirt-road journey through the wildlands of six Western states.

Looks like a fantastic trip Tony. I will follow up with you on this. We have some new initiatives launching over the next few months, several of which will include North American travel content- your route could be perfect.
