What could be better than that !!!! Throw a Glock in for dessert.

^^ X2. Very cool.

Not a skydiver, but weren't they coming in a little "hot"? Seemed that "break a leg" could easily be more than an idiom.

Just watched the video. Scott gets all the cool toys. That looks like so much fun. I love shooting sub-sonic suppressed weapons.

Hi Scott!

Sweet ride you've got!
But what kind of tires are you running? I am on the market for new ones (the Yokohama's are old and Winter is coming...)

Greetings from Michigan,
Malte

Spent the week at Gunsite with the 463 and XVenture in tow. Still running flawless and a pleasure for daily driver responsibilities.

Now I need to plan a longer trip

I am running the Falken Wildpeak ATs. They are super smooth on the highway and bombproof. Some might see them as too mild for the G application, but they have worked great in the dry rock and sand of the Southwest. The real test will be this winter and the snow.

While taking a course at Gunsite, a fellow student grabbed this nice shot of the G463.

That is some nice looking desert landscape. Where might I find it? I'm doing a southern deserts trip in January and looking for a predominantly dirt route thru southern Arizona. I'd like to make one pass heading west and then a different one heading back to NM. Weather and conditions will dictate which one we take first.

I have the NM portion of the trip covered but don't have much AZ knowledge.

I know you are super busy but a direction to a good source would be appreciated. There will be two vehicles; my G wagen camper and an Earthroamer. We have 10 days to be on the road. I need 4 of those to get in and out of NM, leaving 6 to see AZ.

Any input is appreciated.

Is the EarthRoamer the Ford based unit or the Jeep Wrangler?

Arizona has several stunning routes. Assuming the EarthRoamer is the big one, I would start with FR24 North out of Phoenix, then up Bloody Basin road, then west to Crown King, then North to Prescott via the Senator Highway, followed by Perkinsville Road into Jerome, 525 into Sedona, then north up Schnebly Hill Road into Flagstaff. If you still have time, the Mogillon Rim Road could be combined with a drive back east into New Mexico. Much of this will be weather dependent. If there is snow, you will need to stay south. There are some beautiful routes in the Sonoran Desert I can share as well.

Please stop by the office in Prescott. I am in Iceland late January, but around the rest of the month.
