So silly how MBZ and BMW are badging vehicles with engines complete astray from the badging. All a marketing ploy, so dumb. If it's called a G63, it should have a 6.3L engine, not pull the wool over the eyes and have a 1.4L 3cyl Mitsubishi lump instead.

Well, if there's any confusion on what's inside an E63 prior to the twin turbo 5.5 version, it is cleared up the moment the engine is started. The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 sounds much more raw than the 5.5L TT

Im sure you intend on actually using those tires off-road, so how are you planning to prevent the rear tires from rubbing/bending/getting cut on the rear fenders on rough terrain?
Extend rear bump stops 2"?
Stiff rear springs or spring spacers that prevent up travel?
2" body lift?
Cut body?
When I fit 35" (317/75-16) to my G500 I was fortunate to have the european market wheels with low offset of ET63, which allows the rear tires to perfectly tuck up inside the rear metal fender openings without touching anything, no lift needed to fit 35" tires on a G!
I did use 30mm wheel spacers on the front axle only to regain some steering angle.
The same size tires on USA market wheels with offset of ET43 wil stick out just far enough to damage the fender opening when fully articulated in the rough stuff.

They fit perfect, even under full articulation. Only light rubbing under full compression in the rear.

I have not used the winch on the G-Wagen (other than function-testing), but have used this model of winch a few times in the field, even Antarctica. It is the same winch as the earlier Superwinch and has an Albright solenoid, etc. I do plan to do more testing in the near future, and will report.

Hi Scott!
What kind of organizing system do you use right now?
I kinda want the FR drawer system but the delivery would have been after our first trip...so I used plywood, paint and rubber flor mats.
and I am curious to see how you like the drawers.
