It's seamless. All of the map-packs work together when panning or zooming.

Thanks for the heads up. I just updated the inventory on the webstore. I have additional Arizona map-packs in stock.

Sorry, but I don't have anything to share about iPad support at this time.

Received email confirmation of shipping. This like Christmas. We just picked up our (new to us) Toughbook CF-29 and it waits patiently for your software.

Question, Can Navigator be installed on two machines?

and Can i tell it to manualy open a GPX file or is it auto open form flash drives only?

In the future, please send tech support questions to support@spatialminds.com. I don't always check the forum and I don't want to miss your question.

Overland Navigator is licensed for installation on a single machine, intended for use by one person at a time. Please see the complete License Agreement available for download from our website, displayed during installation, and printed on the insert inside the Overland Navigator case.

There are isn't a "File->Open" option (No File menu at all), but you can drop any GPX file you want to view into the "My Tracks" directory on your hard drive. A flash drive or other external drive isn't needed. New files that are added while Overland Navigator is or isn't running are automatically detected and shown. This approach eliminates the need for user interaction when driving down the road.

Just got Overland Navigator running on my Toughbook CF-28 MKIII, P3 1g, 348mb ram, DeLorme LT-40 USB with emulator driver. Despite being lower than recommend specs it is running great. Love this program.

Does anyone have a Garmin GPSmap 62ST that works with Overland Navigator? I can't get the software to link with this GPS and it's driving my crazy.

you might need gpsgate. Its free now for the basic use one. I know garmin has a proprietary signal that needs converting for use in other non-garmin programs.

I have run many Windows aps on Windows hosted on a Mac virtual machine. Very solid and fast - and will restart from where you left off - no re-launching of aps.

I like the ON product and will get a copy with Western maps for my future in-vehicle slate.

GPSGate or possibly "Garmin Spanner" will convert the Garmin Binary Protocol to NMEA0183. I just sent you a more detailed reply in response to your tech-support inquiry. Both of these solutions as well as various cabling solutions are described in the Overland Navigator User Guide (available via the Start Menu).

Drop me another email via support@spatialminds.com if you have any trouble and we'll get it sorted out.

I just ordered the puck that mounts on the roof. Hopefully that'll work. Thanks for the email Craig and you suggestions. I really appriciate it. I can't wait to get this up and running. (Why does Garmin have to be so difficult)?
