I recently installed a Velit gasoline heater in my rig that is tapped into the trucks fuel tank.
Besides a couple hiccups with the unit which thankfully Velit was quick to support and help with it's been great.
For anyone not familiar with these units, it looks identical to a diesel heater but is tuned to run on gas ( or diesel with firmware update) It comes with a real thermostat unlike the CDH units you mostly see that are either on or off. It runs off a bluetooth app as well which has been pretty sweet to make adjustments from the comfort of bed.
I'm pretty happy with how clean and compact the install came out. I put it in the pass side bench and though the floor of the truck to run the fuel line, intake & exhaust using a 5' "turret"
I built a shelf over the top of the heater so I can store things on top in the bench still.
It's very cool to not have to plan on a heating fuel anymore, if the trucks got gas.. I have heat!
