I was able to score a passenger side mirror for $6 and a taillight for $4, so I went home happy.

I had not been there for a couple years and was suprised at how many vendors were there.
The show portion is kind of a joke. A few years ago the vehicle that won the CJ class was a wreck. Five different colors , a giant blower style hood scoop hooked to nothing, bald tires, no seat belts, it basically looked like a parts vehicle. It turns out that the judging is all peer. This guys whole club (one of the bigs ones) got together and voted for him b/c he had been a member for 20 years. We were camped beside him and got the story. I fel tbad fo the guys who had some really nicely restored Cjs.
That said, there were some really nice rigs in the show, it's just not a contest
