Very beautiful, but not for those who dislike heights. Pictures don't show the wind either. :ylsmoke:

Unfortunately it was mobbed last time I drove up there. :(

Wind ?? really? I guess I got lucky.. it was calm as it could be.. This was in the 1st week of October...

Wow ywen! Amazing stuff. I can't quite place that first picture. Where is that? It looks sorta like Rock Creek Lake, am I right?

First pic is of convict lake in the eastern sierras.. The viewpoint where the pic was taken was blocked off until you walked thru a layer of brush, so your senses are hit with that view in a sudden way.. incredible feeling.
