Pebbles the U1700 Unimog

We went up to Marybourough to pick up the new injectors and fuel pump for my Unimog, and whilst we were the, Urs took us out to his test track at the local claypit in his U1700, sure is a capable truck. We shot some video on one of my other toys and my wife took some as well, put this together last night quickly.

Awesome. I mean...the music. i was so busy rockin' out...didn't even really notice the video. But I'm assuming it was pretty good.

Pebbles has got a nice looking front bar / winch set up, that terrain was a walk in the park for the 1700. This Mog is not exADF what is its history? I seen a Unimog hi rail set up in the Blue Mountains It may have been a sister vehicle to your truck Ian

Not sure about the history, but I think it was some thing that was used for cross country cables. I think it had a crane and a massive hydraulic winch. Urss added the Claas overdrive and the massive tyres, and built a new tray for it. He also made the bullbar as well.
