Finally got around to installing my Shrock front bumper with "prerunner" bar. The quality over my KMA is so far above that there is no real comparison. Welds look amazing and CNC cuts instead of rough cuts. Well worth the extra cash and definitely worth the wait. Sorry for the weird lighting in the pics, had it on the wrong setting.

Chrome bumper cover-thingie gone and working on removing the actual bumper cross bar. Oh no, working in flippie-floppies! ;)

Stock "puddle guard", yes it's so thing that I actually bent that by hand.

...it was taken right before this one. The wind actually blew this thing over because it's so thin/light.

STOCK BE GONE!

All buttoned up.

Still need some lights, I think I'll get a cheap set and do the HID upgrade. From the pictures I've seen, it's well worth it.

Other than a little persuasion to the included skid plate, it was pretty straight forward and easy. I have nothing bad to say about this bumper and give it a 10/10 on quality.

VERY nice! I have a 2005 Nismo CC and will be going a very similar route. I just installed PRG's 3" setup last weekend (spacers/deaver 2-pack/Bilstein extended shocks) I'm researching the Titan swap right now. What did you do in the rear to match the 3" per side offset from the Titan swap?

Oh yeah, this was my first post on EP. Found you guys from the Frontier Board.

Yeah, all that's left is to mount the NXRocks sliders. Those things are insanely beefy.

Here's a quicl mock up the other day, they provide unmatched protection. I did, however, have to get them cut and capped since my fenders were cut a while back for tire clearence. They should be mounted on Tuesday...

Slipstream, I'm using two inch wheel spacers from www.wheeladapters.com in the back to match the front. While not dead even, you really can't tell. The Titan swap is amazing and I am definitely glad I did it.

Yea, the differance is night and day between the 2 vendors. It is a shame you have to wait so long for the shrock products but I'm with you worth the wait.

BTW - the truck looks great!

Peck, the new front bumper looks sick. It's making me rethink about going with shrock. Wonder if I could talk them into doing a frontier prerunner for my X.

Whose Street Triple is that on the sidewalk? If its yours, we should be friends! I have an 05 Speed Triple... :victory:

I assume you're talking about the Buell in the background? That actually belongs to a friend of mine that has been helping me work on my truck since he's been on terminal leave from the USMC. He actually bought that as a gift for himself for being 1Lt. It is a very nice bike and very clean. Not a fan of "crotch rockets" but I love his.

I can't see why not. Just ask them and see what they say -- haven't seen one on an X yet.

Sliders are on, will update with those pictures when the sun is out.

Buell? BUELL!? I see only a Triumph Speed Triple!

How dare you insult a fine piece of British engineering with the drivel name of a has-been American wannabe!

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooops. Sorry! My friend wouldn't like that either. Sorry, got a lot going on. But yeah, that's his bike. Pretty sexy.

The lack of unflattering fairings is what I like. Clean yet very utilitarian looking.

Definitely. They are great machines. The triple engine, as cliche as it sounds, truly is the best of both worlds. Low end grunt of a twin, high end power of a 4.

Buells aren't sooo bad i guess. Better than... umm... hyosung? lol. Oh wait, Buell doesn't exist anymore! Innocent mistake though, and actually they are fairly similar in that Buells didn't use a lot of fairing either.
