Well, went to an annual 1stgen meet over in IA over the weekend, picked up a bumper and a new VE pump from an Iveco application.

Damn you live in First Gen Heaven. I've never seen so many Ext cab long bed trucks. They are super rare here in WA.

That truck is actually from fort waYne IN.
Little update on the dually. Back in august the getrag crapped the bed so it now has a rebuilt getrag and a freshly resealed 205.

Wondered where you were at Andrew! I was thinking about you and NV swaps into 1st gens while was talking a young guy out of getting rid of his 91.5 earlier today. He got screwed over by a trans shop and had to pay twice for a trans rebuild in 6 mos. He's $10k in on a $5k truck, and was talking Subaru. Luckily an old farm boy I know happened by in his '02 Taco that he replaced his '92 W250 with after it rusted out. I said "Monty, do you miss your Dodge?", and he said "every day!". I think we talked the youngster into sticking with his truck.

Finally got the camper out and took both trucks to the dragstrip for a weekend of fun at the Nebraska diesel show.

Background 1st Gens On Page 2
Hello there,
I don't know if I missed it or if you even mentioned it, but what are your plans for both of those red 1st Gens in the background on page 2. Not that I need another, just wondering. I'm really diggin all the pics & tech you're providing. Makes me proud to daily drive either of mine. You must be in 1st Gen heaven out in the midwest. It's extremely rare to see one out here & if you do it's usually a 2 wheel drive or auto. Thanks again!

I just read the entire thread; nice truck! I noticed you mentioned replacing the VE pump TPS with a potentiometer. Could you provide some detail as to what you used and maybe a pic or two? I am doing a 12 valve swap into a Chevy with a 4L80e and the range of the VE pump TPS is said to be an issue. Thanks!
