My 1987 Trooper, after a bit of hooliganish fun

'95 Land Rover (on some land we used to own, now part of Sequoia NP)

'87 Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel 4x4 - makes my Heep seem small

'98 Jeep Grand Cherokee - fun, but no soul

'91 Isuzu Pickup - born without a soul, but this one earned it!

And the first love, the one I miss the most.....
1970 BMW 2002 (Ireland Engineering 2.2l package, Weber 45/45 2bbl carb, Ireland custom suspension, gutted interior, 5 speed close ration transmission, custom high volume radiator, widened stock wheels, disc brake conversion, LSD..... bought and driven home on my 16th birthday)

Stripped and painted

Destroyed by an unlicensed illegal immigrant in a Toyota pickup (part of why I have always hated toyotas, maybe?)

Here's one of my first Jeep, an '87 Comanche. This was on the loop road up in Acadia National Park in Maine. The most relaible truck I've ever owned and had 297,000 miles on it when I sold it. Still see it driving around now and again. Boy I miss it.

Sold my 84 FJ60 to some guy in Reno, missed it right away, even though I had replaced it with a 95 FZJ80. I liked the 60 a lot more then the 80.

Anyone seen it in the Reno area?

My 98 Silverado with (what I thought back then was...) a big 3" lift! - 2WD

My 2000 Silverado with a 6" Fabtech lift (2WD still)

and my 2002 Dodge Ram, again 6" Fabtech lift, again 2WD

The Ram is the only one of my last old rigs that I've really taken off the pavement and attempted some trails. FINALLY getting a 4 wheel drive was the best thing I've ever done, vehicle-wise!
