Currently in the deciding stage of what 'camper' were going to have next, so these pic's are really helpful. However, can we see more of box internals..... am starting to work on a layout & need inspiration & ideas. We really want an internal bathroom & shower for shoulder season camping at higher elevations (assume snow & below zero temps) so any ideas would be very helpful.

I am currently looking at the Demers type III's here - http://www.elite911.com/inventory/index.php

There built in Canada, for the harsh Canadian winters & service/spares are available through their service network.

We'd have between $5k - $10k to spend on the base vehicle.... so, what year would be best for engine (diesel) ?

Thanks & cheers !

Here's my interior setup so far. I'm not looking at doing any plumbing for a shower or bathroom even though I will be out in this year round in the northeast. I am just not interested in going there for weekend use and occasional extended use and would rather have the space. So much to freeze, so much more work and maintenance.

If you're looking at a Ford, the 7.3 is the most popular. 6.0s have a bad reputation in stock form.

Here's mine. 2001 E450 7.3 PSD with a 6" Ujoint kit. 35" tires.

Hey Tribe and Ambot
How is that tire and rim combo working out??
Can they be aired down for sand??
Is the highway ride good??
My setup is working well. But the road noise is s bit much on long trips.
