"Intersting Look"

RK, My appolgies for the delayed reply. Sierra storms have kept us tree boys busy. True, the look is good. But 8 sidewalls win everytime in the contest against 4 sidewalls (at least for heavy hauling apps like mine) (10K on board all the time + 7-18K on the trailer) not unlike some loads reguralry placed on F250's & 350's w/ singles. Or E's for that matter. But if I'm on the downhill side of a big pass and I blow a rear, I will take 8 over 4 anytime. Nothing special under this van(well maybe the inch and a half sway bars). Tall as it is, it corners flat now. But, have plans to improve current sway bar setup and add unique on/off road, anti/axel wrap bars. Let me know if you still want pics of this rig. Will provide close ups if you wish. L2B

Yeah man! Another B-series! Welcome to the club!
Thanks, are there any other AK folks on here?

That is one sweet Ice Box.
Appreciated, it's a perfect temp for beer storage -all year long.

Very cool to see an old dodge being used and abused. Cool van!!
Abused is the keyword, it is solid!

Who cares? Dodge goes where no man knows. How was the skiing? L2B
Skiing is always good! It snowed everyday on the trip, I skied Mission Ridge WA, Smithers BC, Shames Mt BC, Eaglecrest Juneau and Alyeska before coming home and skiing here.

Nice! I have the same vintage Anti-Pistes mounted up with some Naxo AT bindings. Are those dynafits on yours? I see all kinds of stuff there, multi discipline eh? Nice.

Where specifically did you pick up the "heart oregon" sticker?

Bachelor has had a lot of pretty good snow this year. Still flat though. I don't have a pass but i have a friend up there so i still get to ski a bit. Been doing some backcountry stuff too. But i went to Thailand in early january and got used to hot weather, then when i got back here, it was warm here too. Then when it got cold again, i've just had a hard time getting motivated to ski, lol. I think my brain switched to spring/summer mode way too early this year!

Guess my question didn't post before... And I only remember two parts of it :D What was the cost to Rhino Line the bottom of it, where did you buy the fender flares and why are they only on the front?

Here we go. 1984 Mitsubishi L300 I used for a trip through Tunisia and Algerian Sahara. We had to carry 8 NATO cans as some stretches were about 700 miles between villages. This trip was 6,000 miles worth way back in 1989. The second vehicle you see is a Swiss made Monteverdi. The washboard was so bad the doors literally broke off of the Montiverdi.

Dino Evo

Some really nice big 4x4 vans here. I rather keep it compact and went with a Mitsubishi l300. We are building it up for our trip along the PanAm. Had already a lot of good memories with it and hope there are more to come. In my mind the perfect vehicle for our lifestyle...

Yea, those Mitsubishis really are neat until you sit in one. My 6'4" frame barely fit between the seat and cab front, then when I closed the door I was literally jammed in without the ability to move enough to reach for the door latch. The salesman at Japan Auto in Abbotsford had to open the door for me from the outside! The old Econoline felt really roomy after that.

Very capable vans though, from what I've seen on You Tube.
