Yeah, I read your Vandiana thread a few days ago. (Would love a larger, proper 4x4 van but its too rare and expensive over here.)

I guess the roof rack is for anything beyond a 1/4 mile.

The principle of a solid axle instead of an independent one, like stock, to lift the car much higher is the same with every kid I know, Sportsmobile, Quadvan etc.

Its a Clydesdale conversion #1066 and thanks I will be starting a build out page soon.
New pictures from our weekend camping trip in AR. We camped at Millwood State Park then drove up to Bear Mountain outside of Mt Ida to dig for quartz crystals. Really pleased with the new Aluminess roof rack. Very sturdy and didn't cause any issues raising/lowering the manual top either.

After ordering a UJOR 6" kit earlier this year and picking away at the pre-conversion steps (gear swap, front spring hangers...), finally got the solid axle and lift kit in. Tank shortening and t-case install coming soon...
