T.Low, when did you get out to Moab? Do you have a photo gallery of your trip?

I was there last week. Spur of the moment trip.

Astro Adventure Week is right after Jeep Safari Week, but apparently I was the only one that knew that, town's people included. :coffeedrink:

All I got so far are iphone pics. My laptop isn't listenning to my big camera, but have a photobucket app for my iphone, so...

You can see the UJoint Offroad sticker on the back window and the UJoint brackets up front but this van is still waiting for me to install the Dana 60 and Sterling 10.5 that have been siting in my garage for the last three years. I might have to visit Chris later this summer.... Quite honestly, even having just 2WD the van has surprised me. I've driven through streams, over boulders and through some sand without getting stuck but there have certainly been some times when 4x4 would have been nice to have.

I've put over 20,000 roadtrip miles on her since bringing her back from the dead when I replaced the engine myself. Quite honestly with me doing the work myself I'm amazed it made it 1500 miles...

I'm now contemplating my next vehicle and trying to decide between a 7.3 E350 4x4 and a Fuso FG. I owned a Izusu NPR as a work truck years ago and really liked the cab over design. My only hesitation in going the FUSO route would be that they don't move very quickly on the interstate. The 7.3 E Van can do 85 mph all day, my guess is the FUSO will max out around 65 :(

UJOR Chris, now that you've owned a 7.3 would you every go back to a gas engine?

Long time no see/hear! Glad the van is still treating you well. I now have the 7.3 along with a 5.4 in my DD rig. I like them both. they serve different needs though. If I had to have one rig for everything I'd go 7.3, or 6.0, or even a V10! I like them all.

Yes, very similar, but not the same one. When we dove up to it I took a double take and had to look it up in the guide book.:sombrero:
