Before the trip:

Fairbanks, AK fueling up for trip to Deadhorse. Nine gallons of gas for the trip. Gave 2 gallons to my buddy when his KLR650 ran out.

Weather good in the morning. Turned to crap after this pic:

100 miles from Deadhorse, AK. Got in at 1am in the middle of a snowstorm,23 degree weather, & 5" of mud.

Welcome aboard TellicoMoto, great looking bike. I've been out your way once since I started riding, and was in too much of a time crunch to stop by the shop, but I will this fall when I head back to the Dragon.

zolo, that section of road, after you ride 30 miles of sand, is hard packed playa. Over a ton for as long as you want!

The LC8 Enduro is a beast.
I like it man, good on ya. Was that a Solo ride?

Well I wanna plat KTM also... Here is Black Balsam Rd FS 816 off the BRP this past winter. Camped up their, woke up to 23deg temps.
But I had the BRP all to my self and Black Balsam rd as well.

Ride with the same 2 or 3 guys every year in the last week of OCT. or first week of Nov. Perfect weather in Baja that time of year IMHO. I had a 950 ADV before the SE. It was a great bike but the SE is just that little bit better in the dirt.

Yeah Id like to ride Baja some time. looks like a lot of fun and so much open space to get after it. KTM seems to make a perfect bike for that.
