Walmart carries single pieces of Corelle. Large and small plates, bowls and cups, etc.
Plates, cups and bowls ???

I just got a pair of Stainless MSR bowls and plates along with some used camping supplies I bought. The plates are a little on the shallow side but the bowls are great... great size and shape and they stack neatly. My only complaint is heat transfer but that's going to be the same with all metal tableware.

Expedition Exchange carries a line of titanium plates, dishes, etc. Titanium is great because it is strong and does not conduct heat well. This bypasses the problems with steel or aluminum. I have a set and they work very well. The best I have found. They cost more than Goodwill pie plates. Here's their link:

Titanium conducts heat better than Stainless Steel. And many times more than plastic or glass.

Titanium alloy appox. 6 btu
Stainless approx. 16 btu
Aluminum alloys approx. 180 btu
So it seems when talking about metal plates, the difference between Stainless and Titanium are pretty insignificant when compared to Aluminum.
Glass is typically rated right at 1.0 btu, so Corelle wins.

We're using plastic stuff from target -- we bought sets of 4 bowls/cups/plates/etc. for like $0.50 per set on clearance when they were closing out the summer stuff. Mostly, I'm cheap. Otherwise, I'd have melamine plates/etc. also from target.

To late to have bought the individual Corelle dishes since I placed my order a few days ago.
That is OK, I can use the extra small plates at home.
I will not need them though for camping.
My current set of Corelle dishes I got when my mother passed away Christmas of 1989, and out of the four place setting I am only missing one of the smaller plates, and one of the dinner plates.
They broke long ago, these are very durable, this is why I want to try them for camping.
Here is a picture I shot a few minutes ago of the Corelle dinner plates and matching bowls, and those silicone mixing bowls I ordered too.
Also seen is that new Oxo hand beater I bought (have two now) awhile back, best beater I have owned yet.
Those blue enameled plates and bowls I have had since the late 80s, will be retiring them.
Going to hang onto the blue enameled coffee cups for now though.

GSI Infinity table set.
We recently replaces out old enamel plates with this table set. It's made by a US company by the name of GSI.
It's a four person setting made from BPA free lexan plastic. Light weight, durable and stackable.
It consists of:
4x plates 237x237mm
4x mugs with insulated covers and sip lids
4x tumblers
4x bowls with sealable lids for left overs.
Also we've been using the GSI coffee plunger. 900mls with sealable lid and insulated cover.
along with there alloy kettle and stemless lexan wine glasses
Pros:
Light weight 1520gms total
Space saving 237x237x244
Durable
Cons:
Can scratch
Heat resistant not heat proof
All up were very happy with the form and function of this set. It's a lot lighter and easier to manage than our last assortment of odds and sods.

:sombrero: Eight years ago, I bought this "CONCEPT" kitchen kit--it provides for four people--plates/cups/bowls/knives/forks/spoons/SS thermos/salt/pepper shakers.napkins
The plates are melamine, dishwater safe--

We've used it every year, camping and there has been NO FAILURES-just some scratchs-
