Portrait Shots (show us your best)

Wedding day documentary...

Took a slightly different approach to this wedding. I shot the entire day almost exclusively with only a 35mm 1.4.

Trevor, I really like that set. It has a very photo journalistic feel to it which I think makes it fun. Something that really draws my eye is on the last picture the brides hair looks like a second face. Not that you have any control over it, but that was the first thing I noticed when I looked at that shot.

Very nice Trevor- really like how your eye for moments translates so well into your wedding shoots. Great set.

Funny, never noticed that. lol Can kinda see it. Nice work on the candid shots.

Trevor,
That is funny that you looked through your work to come to that conclusion. It is also insightful and useful to find the best lens for those moments. I am interested to hear how the lens works out as the year goes on. I am not big on third party but some manufacturers are really stepping up their game.

Playing in the rain! My girl friend thought it would be fun to do a shoot in the rain and I was only too happy to oblige. As it turned out the rain quite before she was ready, so I had a friend hold the hose instead.
