Who says you can't pull a 5th wheel with a ZJ?

A buddy of mine needed this 5th wheel moved about 30ft. I rigged a skid out of some 3/4" plywood, and hooked up the tow strap. First time I've had to use my ARB's on hard flat ground :)

Love it! But boy those shingles would add some weight.
They should go with the new standing seem metal roof like we have in the US.

Pop up made from 2 Fj40 tubs

Heres mine. Still a work in progress. Its a pop up made from 2 Fj40 tubs designed to look like it came out of the Toyota factory and the same time the FJ40's were produced. I have a 71' Fj40 to pull it with in addition to the 80 series. THe top pops up with tent material surrounding to enclose a platform with a queen size bed. Below the platform will be a slide out kitchen, water & propane tanks, battery, storage, etc. see the build thread here: http://forum.ih8mud.com/trailer-tech/247851-expedition-trailer-made-fj40-tub.html

Obviously spares are interchangeable with FJ40 tow vehicle. Not my "favorite" photos but you can see what it looks like up close, behind an Fj40, and with the top up (without tent material or a mattress). This last photo was actually taken durring development of the lift mechanism. The top now sits 4" lower.
