finally got the lift on our build. 3.5" aev dual sport, 315 70r17 bfg at's. wheels, roof rack, led lighting, bumpers, skids are up next.

How is the ride on and off road with the AEV dual sport suspension as compared to the stock Rubicon?

2.5L :eek: 5 speed, 4.10 gears, 31x10.50 Wild Country MT's, 3.25" lift, front locker. More of a toy right now. An underpowered toy!

I've done more wheelin' than overlanding, but I'd like to get into more of this expedition style traveling. I'm unsure how to accomplish this with such a small vehicle, though. My Tahoe is better suited for this, but it is too large for most of the trails and areas where we live. The Jeep fits perfectly. However, if I bring my wife and two kids along, there is very little room for gear left in the TJ!!

Man, I'm jealous of you guys who are out playing in several feet of snow, the trails that do stay open here in the winter have maybe 10-16 inches.
