My 97 TJ:

2.5L 5 speed, 4.10 gears, 31x10.50 Wild Country MT's, 3.25" lift, front locker. More of a toy right now. An underpowered toy!

I've done more wheelin' than overlanding, but I'd like to get into more of this expedition style traveling. I'm unsure how to accomplish this with such a small vehicle, though. My Tahoe is better suited for this, but it is too large for most of the trails and areas where we live. The Jeep fits perfectly. However, if I bring my wife and two kids along, there is very little room for gear left in the TJ!!

Man, I'm jealous of you guys who are out playing in several feet of snow, the trails that do stay open here in the winter have maybe 10-16 inches.

I used to not care much about this blue color... but your have got a nice rig my friend. Its growing on me.. I have to see one in person now.

Low PSI (3-5PSI) will help you float over this stuff like nothing... only thing is that you got to keep weight of the 4x4 as low as possible...
