That's mine, over the years it grew a bit...

When I got it from a friend in BC,

What axles are those? 9" diffs/tubes with portal units off a Mog, C303, Hummer?
They are 9"s with Strange aluminum cases, I think 2.70 r&p that equals a 5.66 ratio when combined with the portal reduction. The portal boxes are a proprietary design by Portal-Tek, and they built the axles.

And this truck will have CTIS when it's finished, but I think we're still waiting on the CTIS portal box castings.

This is such a clean YJ, excellent work!

thanks. no body damage at all. the only bad part is the hood where the paint has started to fade (chrysler paint). i plan to repaint the whole jeep to a flat dark gun metal silver. almost like the ICO 40 series.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. The TJ's pretty simple and serves well for me and my wife...2" springs, 1.25" Body Lift and 4.56 gears on 33's with I6 and 5-speed.

The pic is is along River Road near Mariscal Mine at Big Bend National Park.

Lots of nice rigs in here...:smiley_drive:
