It has a 5.7l V8, auto tranny, portal axles, ARB air lockers, wilwood discs, 40" tires on Hutchinson alu military double beadlocks, custom Nth LA, Viper Red paint, new Warn 12000lb air cooled winch on front.

The canvas top on the bed does it for me. Very Nice. Oh yeah I suppose the portals are nice too

I'm new to the site and thought I'd post a couple pics of my rig. I started building it to "rock crawl" or just wheel hard, but since have found that I am more interested in an expedition style rig. I will be moving in that direction now. As for the rig as it sits...I'll list the garbage.
2000 Jeep cherokee, 4.0 auto, 35" tires and 17" wheels, rubicon express 7.5 long arm kit, high pinion dana 44 front, locked, with high steer and 1 ton tie rod/track bar, Ford 9" rear with factory LSD, all regeared to 4.10, Homemade front bumper with mile marker 8000 winch, onboard air, and misc. garbage.

Some of the info here is a little more in-depth then over on JF. Camping and wheeling together is a subject that isn't covered too much on JF.

I have this exact picture (minus the Jeep.) That's a beautiful area for a drive! Last time I was there, we'd had a good rain come through so alot of water was coming down the walls. Beautiful! Thanks for sparking some great memories.

i always planned to wait till it's somewhat done, but then this can still take a little while...
last week i installed the lift (finally) and actually got the tech. inspection approval:wings:
but the tires/rims and the finishing touches on the roofrack are still missing...
