At first I was really glad to find this thread. But then I saw so very few CJs I couldn´t believe my eyes. So please let me post some photos of mine.

Approaching the raft. Just about to climb on the raft that would get us through the lake that resulted of the construction of a dam in the area.

Driving on the same lake after getting off the raft, on another trip to the same area one year later.

Since you put it hat way about not enough CJ's I guess this would be a good post to stop lurking on.
Here is my CJ-7 that I bought new, it has a glass body new frame and some other thing now.

Thanks for your contribution. Nice CJ you got there. Nothing like a white, clean CJ

This thread is definitely in dire need of more CJ photos. Let's just hope more happy Carter carburetor owners decide to post theirs.

I got rid of my Carter years ago and run the Motorcraft 2100, the Team Rush ignition upgrade and the cdi ignition. The Carter was just too big of a pain to run any longer.

CJ7+1 = CJ8

BTW: Where do you call home?

Nice!!! We had plenty of those CJ8s here. They were locally assembled with a metal hard top.
I'm attaching some photos of a few of them that I've just found in a car selling web site with their links, just in case you are curious.

Home is Caracas, Venezuela for as long as we can stay here, which unfortunately may not be for too long...

I could never understand why we didn't get the steel hard tops in North America. The only Jeeps up here with that top are the postal Jeeps.

When I bought my 7 it was supposed to come with a hard top, but the factory was behind on them. It was shipped with a soft top and took me several years to find a hard top. My thoughts are the factory was just behind on all the good tops.
