Post Pic's of your Jeep

The above is true. When I had a 2 door JK it had 35's and 1 on the stock carrier. The tire sat a little on the bumper but its not like the plastic bumper gave it much help... I ran it like that for a while.

Another Newbie here from the Hoosier state. This is my 2011 Jeep Wrangler 2dr. Some photos:

The Jeep was an impulsive purchase last month. As a (now) former Land Rover Enthusiast, I will say that I love this Wrangler. If I can only find a nice roof rack for it..................

Low PSI (3-5PSI) will help you float over this stuff like nothing... only thing is that you got to keep weight of the 4x4 as low as possible...

I was aired down to about 7 psi and the tires were already fully flexing. I don't think airing down any further would have made a significant difference. I think my main issue was weight. I am a 4-door, and a 4-door with alot of extra weight on it from bumpers/snorkel/skidplates and alot of heavy gear inside. My best bet would have been to reduce weight. I worry about going all the way down to 4 psi without beadlocks.

It was a fight breaking trail just to stay above the stuff due to my weight. Remember it was about 8-10 feet deep, so I was still above it! Once I started getting hung up too much, we tried the others as well but no one was having much more success. The sun was just about setting anyway when our forward progress came to a crawl, so we called it a day. Next time I'll try and shed as much weight as I can.

NMBR's 2012 JKU

Bone stock with 199 miles on the clock — I was so impressed with the Rubicon's "out-of-the-box" capabilities, the planned 30-minute "get to know your JKU" off-road test drive turned into a three hour trail run.

Glad to see you posting that up here, Jake. I can't wait to see what you have planned for this rig.

I had to repost a few of these pictures. Absolutely amazing jeeps.

Ventura, this JK is absolutely amazing, and is more along the lines of how I eventually hope to have my JK built to.

If the 4dr JK hadn't come out, my XJ would have been replaced for either one of these or another XJ. Beautiful jeep. I love the lines of these.

Here is mine during some adventures in alaska.

There's certainly a point where beadlocks and wider tires MIGHT help, however that's also dependent on the snow conditions. Up here everything we get is super light and powdery. I don't think even 14 wide tires aired right down would make a massive difference...

Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas
Mark Twain National Forest, near Cassville, Missouri

Casey

We head up to Devils Den 3 times (sometimes 4) a year. We will camp there 1 or 2 nights before heading futher up to Cassville to visit Roaring River State Park and the Mark Twain NF. There's a cool road running out the back side of RRSP up to Cassville.
