My first post on ExPo.

This was our first and only Land Rover. I had wanted one since an early age watching Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. We bought it new in 2002. It was my wife's dd. Kept it for a couple of years but she was never comfortable driving it, ended up selling it and buying a Volvo wagon

This is us outside of Red Cliff, CO. I miss my Disco.

Just picked up my new-to-me Rover this weekend. 1973 Series III 109" Station Wagon. Looking forward to getting it dirty soon!

Galvanized frame, 2.5l petrol engine out of mid-80's Defender, Defender seats, overdrive. It runs great.

Hey - nice machine... I've always had a soft spot for the 5 door 109's. Reading your specs it looks like you've got a nice one. Is that your mini too? Looks like the perfect combo of vehicles.

Yep, the Mini is my daily driver. I had a 1970 Triumph TR6 that I had to let go before I bought the Rover. My wife and I just had twins a few months ago and I figured if I am going to tool around with a classic car it might as well be something that can hold them and all my camping stuff.
