where's the forrest ?

Ha! I didnt make it that far. It was getting dark, I was by myself and out of cell phone coverage, plus I had to be at work the next morning. So no sense in breaking down by myself out there. Anyway, it is a beautiful area. I didnt make it to Sitting Bull Falls like "TexasTJ" mentioned. Sounds like I didnt miss much due to the fires.

I used to drive through the Guadaloupe Mountains every week several years ago. That is beautiful scenery. Fortunately not much traffic.

Inside it has a 4ft double bed and a seating area. The doors to the left of the seating access a vertical locker ..... which is also accessed outside aswell.

Do I have the credentials to join the forum ???

the clarity of these pics is awesome. what camera do you use?
Thanks! That will be a Canon EOS400D, 18mm-55mm lens, polarizer, Iso100 and F ranging from 9 to 16 or so depending on shutter time.. Some pics I got look a bit weird, some a bit dark.... I'm just an amateur.....

Beautiful photos! Looks alot like the trails high in the Colorado Rockies.

Thanks! It was really beautiful up there. If the rockies are more or less the same ( I believe you get really high mountain passes up in the Rockies right?) I would to one day come over and have a look.... But then again, I've seen LOTS of beautiful scenery pics from the US..... You guys are lucky..

The number plate was on the vehicle when I purchased it. The previous owner ran a classic VW shop so I'm sure he just stuck it on. Not sure about the lift. It may be a Rovertym 2" or 3" spring lift. Tires are 33" Goodyear MT/R's. Came with ARB air lockers front and rear too! Working on installing a high clearance tie rod this week. The stock rod was bent like a wet noodle on the Rubicon Trail last week. :(
