That's a nice looking rig, I like that bumper.

It started snowing so bad on the way home, it was very difficult to see. It was dark too which made matters worse. Dont mind me acting like an ape btw or my woman saying hello.

Good to see your rig on some nice MTs. Nice and clean! Not sure if you are aware of this, but taking those side steps off gives you a bit more clearance and you wont have to worry about breaking them. Easy to do if it is something that interest you, pending your wife (if you have one) will let you do it. :bigbossHL:

BTW, what happened to your brush guard?

One thing to remember is, once you remove the side steps the next thing to get damaged are the seals!! as I have found out:oops:

K, cause I remember seeing the guard on some previous photos. So, you have a good reason to keep the steps then. lol

Here's a couple with just Large Marge in them ... I figured I'd desecrate my own thread with pictures of Jeeps and FJ Cruisers.

Except for the ones of the THREE rescues for the day ...

First somewhat deep hole

The YJ after the first somewhat deep hole (also known as rescue #1)

The second deep hole I don't have a picture of, but the water was up to the bottom of the windshield. Reaffirming that with proper driving technique, the Montero can go anywhere. I was the only one to go through, nobody else wanted to try after the YJ attempted it.

Here's a few pictures leading up to rescue #2

And the aftermath:

I had to pull the YJ out both times. We pumped water from the #1 cylinder the first time, and the #1, 5, and 6 cylinders the second time. More pictures to come of the Montero once I get the SD slot on my computer working again. These were all taken with my wife's DROID INCREDIBLE 2.
