It looks great! Do you remember the dimensions or make of the atv ramp by chance?

I built a rack from an ATV ramp as well. my ramp was 6 foot long and doesn't fully cover my roof. It could be another couple of feet long. The ramp was also 48 inches wide, and I added probably 4 inches in width so that it was wider.

I did order the 7" garvin gutter mounts, the other options they have are not going to be tall enough for a gen 2/2.5

I painted it, it's satin desert tan with gloss white on the roof, and rubberized matte black trim. factory was silver body silver roof and grey trim

Easiest way I've found to get a good, well lit picture of the undercarriage. Oooh, 18 year old me, not believing my parents that the Montero is top heavy.

The bigger guy in the pics is my best friend, who used to climb on my rear bumper and hold on while I spun donuts. Once we got it back onto its wheels, it fired right up and I drove it home (holding the driver's door closed with my arm the whole way).

Hey, nice looking montero! Did you do the diesel swap yourself? How do you like it vs the 3.5?

yes i did it myself i never had a 3.5 it was an LS to start with with a 3.0 12 valve and a 5 speed i put 4000 miles on the diesel so far but its great better on fuel and more fun on trails :smiley_drive:

Was your Montero a factory 5 speed or did you convert it from an auto? I'd like to do this myself but I know of only one person that has mated a 4M40 to the auto but his website is gone.
