Falendown

What Larry said!

By the way who did the roof conversion Falendown?

I have no clue. I can't find any badging for it. I searched for some clues on the internet and came up empty handed. On a recent trip to Tulsa I found another one, (2WD though) but sadly it offered up no clues as to who made it. The one I purchased was the only one I had ever seen in person at the time. I figured it would make a perfect expedition vehicle platform. I'm currently searching for the tri-fold custom conversion van sofa bed for the back now. And trying to talk the guy from the junk yard out of a set of sliding rear side windows.

I am currently working on a 99 Escalade console swap. I gutted the console, wrapped in vinyl for a nicer feel and look. I built a pocked to go in place of the CD-changer and made fillers for the rear seat controls. I am adding USB ports and an DC/AC converter inside the console while I and going all the work.

I also have some LED lights to add to the back bumper for reverse lights, and changing out the offroad lights for some HID units.

Also hoping to build a drawer sliding organizer for the back to keep my tools and supplies organized.

This is someone around my 15th suburban.

GM never put a G80 in the front of any truck.

People say that, but it isn't factual. They did. This is my second one to have it. I have own 4 K1500's that did not have it. It is a very clear difference. You can run the VIN at the dealer, and it will show on the options list.

I have a buddy with a 97 pickup that has it, and a buddy with an 02 that has it. I have spoken with other people who's trucks had them as well. Not common at all, but they did have them.

Any time that I post that it has it, at least one person has to tell me I am wrong.
