Finally got some free time to finish up wiring in the LED lights for the Woofwagon. Building a set of sliding drawers that will lay on the floor of the rear area here in the next couple of days. Schnorkel is all hooked up as is the onboard 150psi air compressor.

You got is sanded down nicely, now put some primer on it before it's pitted to hell.

As soon as I'm done welding on it, I'll prime it. It takes about 40yrs for steel to start pitting here in southern NV. haha!

I'm not exactly sure. I have seen pictures of it though, I'm pretty sure I want nothing to do with it.

I wish the roads weren't salted. I'd prefer to visit the salt flats or sprinkle it on my food, not bathe my truck in it.

Note that those of us near the ocean also have to deal with that fine salt air. Makes us feel happy, but plays nasty with most metals.

So this rust thing must be like gold, they pay good money back east and up north for trucks with it. That white stuff doesn't stand a chance here, it's been in the high 70s since November.

I picked up this '87 V20 from a guy in Sacramento about a year ago. He couldn't get it to pass smog so I got it for $850! 1 temp sensor later and the idle dropped and it passed smog with flying colors. Since then I've only tossed on some 33" BFG's, an ORD 4" kit and that's about it. I think it has some lower than normal gearing because I've been to Hollister Hills a couple times and it's a monster.

Plans include a 14FF, 4-speed trans of some kind and since I want to make it a proper overland truck a roof basket, roof tent and rear drawers. I absolutely love this thing.

Haven't been able to do much, dealing with a new job and the challenges that ensue at the moment.

In the near future, I plan to strip the rattlecan bedliner paintjob from the previous owner (looks bad & starting to peel) and redo it to better standards, then comes maintenance and tweaking the electrical system.
