So Many Ideas

So just found this forum. I love all the square body burbs. I wish mine had a few more drive wheels but it sure rides nice and tows like a champ. It's a TBI 350 / 700R4. I've added some power points to the console along with their own fuse box and some heavier shocks.

Nice burbs. For the 2wd, fire in a truetrac in the rear, and a lift and your 90 percent of what a stock 4wd can do anyways.

What would you guys build skidplates out of? I've got the stock ones for front t-case and trans but im thinking that big gas 42 gal tank needs one too. For now I have a ginormous ranch hand pipe bumper with a 6 inch drop to slide on but I would like a low profile close to cab style bumper. my only fear then is the tank hanging.

1/4" with a few sections doubled up to 1/2" so I can drag the entire weight of the vehicle over an obstacle without fear of spilling 42 gallons of diesel.

I'm thinking of going to a mid mount tank swapping in one from a pickup truck, to help with departure angle.
