If your vin is 1GNFK2 then it is a 3/4 ton. GM did not make a GMT400 1/2 ton (1500) with 8 lug wheels.
They did however build a light duty 3/4 ton with 6 lug wheels in pickups.
Even the GMT800 1500HD trucks had 8 lug wheels.

Incorrect. I have a 1999 K1500 6.5TD with 8 lug hubs. The only differences between the K1500 and K2500 are is the final drive ratio. 1500 is 3.42 and 2500 is 3.73 or 4.10. 6.5TD was also available in 2 door tahoes and yukons.

Just picked up this little Gem to replace my sequoia, as much as I love the creature comforts of the sequoia I just love the simplicity of old chevy iron .


Stuffed a fuel pump in it and just got started on cleaning up 5 years of it sitting in a back yard







The sequoia will be up for sale after I get the suburban all sorted out if you know anybody interested
