I spent years in the desert photographing off road racing. It was usually either too hot, or too cold. Every once in a while it would be just right. Which do you prefer?
Too hot?

Too Cold?

I'm with you on this one. I'd much prefer the cold, and yet I somehow ended up in Texas.Oh definitely the cold! it can never be "too cold" for me.
Too hot is subjective, but for me that means 70 + Fahrenheit.
In near 0 F or below I camp alone, sissy girl throws in the towel around 32 F.

Unfortunately all my family is here so I'm stuck a while. But, when it's just the wife and I, we plan to be up there as often as possible.I would nope the heck out of Texas quickly!
I'm a desert rat like papawheely, I can deal with the heat and complain about it, but add in humidity and it's a whole different hell, I'm out.

After getting heatstroke a couple times, I have a hard time once it gets in the teens myself, but I would rather be too hot than too cold. Either way, you need to be careful in remote areas. Both extremes can be killers.Doesn't matter, I like them both. I will say I cannot handle the 110's or higher anymore, age has a funny way of limiting you, especially when you do not limit yourself. Luckily it never gets that hot in the houston area.
