Thanks for the picture Mike. Nice meeting you and shooting the breeze. I've admired your truck at the races quite a few times. I thought my truck was big for some of the remote spots we go, then I bump into your ride and realize you have already been there with your 4 door. :Wow1:

The heat was intense for October even in the shade.

You should have seen me going down the UTV trail I ended up on down by the river. It was so twisty my truck barely fit around the corners and the trees were on both sides. I was in 2wd; if I got stuck I might not have been able to open the doors to lock the hubs.

Here is a shot my friend took of me while we were shooting the race. We hike in rough terrain and stand in the heat, cold, dust, wind, rain, etc. It's all worth it when we get to witness incredible sights.

That looks either like a 'It seemed like a good idea at the time" situation, or a "Here, hold my beer and watch this ********" scenario!

I'm guessing insurance fraud. If you look at the line he took its almost like he planned it. Who puts their trailer wheels on the inside line?

I lost one of my best and oldest friends and constant source of inspiration, Andy Cohen to brain cancer yesterday. A fabricator, entrepreneur, and perpetual "Idea Man," the plan was for us to build my truck together, but he got sick. I never thought this would beat him as he had slayed every dragon he came across in life. I am finding out what a large influence he had as the condolences and incredible stories from all the people he impacted continue to stream in. He survived two rounds of chemo and radiation but it wasn't enough to destroy the cancer taking over his body. He fought hard until the very end and had his wish to die with dignity with me at his bedside and his wife's arms around him. I'm just glad I could be of help to them in their darkest hours. There will be no funeral but instead a life celebration when the time is right. That's what he wanted. Cancer Really Sucks!

Our final project together was this F-250 we built for the SEMA show last year: http://www.offroadxtreme.com/features/car-features/tough-as-nails-an-f250-built-for-work/
