Taking the new front springs apart and getting them greased up. I use a white lithium grease. This will help from any possible squeaks and will keep the suspension moving smoothly.

i have read this forum for a while and even bought one of your front bumper kits and just joined to comment on this thread. I just had to comment (hopefully taken as constructive criticism) on the grease in the springs. Correct me if i am wrong but a wise old guy once told me to not lubricate these. the rubber/plastic pads are meant to be dry. The grease will attract dirt and form a compound which will start to rub and the springs will start wearing through each other. like sand paper or rubbing compound.
i just dont want you to wear our those nice new springs! especially since you use your burb for what is was meant for!
by the way i am building a twin to this suburban (almost) will post some pics sometime when I have time. I used yours an inspiration.
I am in the middle of doing bodywork/paint right now.
