The X is out of the paint booth, reassembled and looking like new!
Still have the spare on the left rear - since the OEM wheel was damaged in the collision. Worry not, new wheels and tires are on the list!
Front ring gear torqued with Loctite. Pinion bearing installed.
More to come!

I've been out of town for a couple of weeks. Rode the Mid-Atlantic BDR on the KTM 1090R - had a blast!
Ok, back to Project X!
I made a set of check bearings, measured/labeled all my shims - yeah, I know, super anal!
Also got new Spicer ball joints installed:

Looking good. No harm in being anal about it, especially when you want a nice quiet differential.

4.30 gears in! Axles installed with new u-joints. Knuckles installed with new ball joints. All new bearings and seals.

Thanks! I wasn't planning on welding the tubes. I'll be using the X for towing the camper then venturing off for some light off-road exploration. No giant tires or rock crawling - I've got a JK Wrangler for that.
