the only thing that buggs me is that on the driver's side (only) it doesn't want to stick to the plastic...
will need to fix that - but there's so much stuff to do and i have only two weeks left for the big (european) show...

well, here it is:
finally done and bead blasted and primered in a saltwater resistant paint!

i actually like it in gray. maybe i should have the bumpers and rocker rails matched...

well, for now i paint it black anyhow. this weekend i'll take it off and do some work on it. hope to get the wiring for the lights done, too. although i don't even have all the lights yet.

and it looks as if i will not get tires and rims for the show in two weeks. i cannot find rims that would fit the jk and my wallet... bummer - we'll see.

What size rims do you currently have?

If you're running 16"s I have 4 Interco TRXus 285/75/16's (about 33") that are in decent shape you can have for the price of a few cool Euro Off Road T-shirts and swag from the show and a road trip to come pick them up.

The local jeep club might also be able to help, with some rims/tires as well.

only problem is that i have no chance doing a road trip in time. still too much work to do (at work and on the truck) :-(

i thought the gray was awesome, then thought i have to do bumpers, and rocker rails, too. or all black.
to make it easier, i thought i paint the rack black...
wanted to start tomorrow.

ok, here's the deal:
since the show is in about a week and i have plenty else to do i stopped thinking about it and painted it black. this way i can see what it looks like, and if i decide for gray afterall i can still do this. although i think then i would also do the bumpers and rocker rails in gray – maybe even the rims (which i still don’t have )

so black it is for now – once all the wiring is done, etc. i’ll post another pic…
