So, Paul, time to come clean about your association with Pronghorn. You post about this topic and little else. What are you, a dealer? Brother-in-law? Nobody gets this excited about a bumper.

I sent you a PM two weeks ago asking about your association with Pronghorn. You never replied. Speak up now.

Sorry haven!

I´ve just seen your PM now that you mentioned it! It was 3 weeks actually ... sorry!!!

I´ve answered, but for all the others, no I don´t have any relation with the brand or people just love the bumper and the Jeep JK.

Anyone have one yet?
AEV charges an arm for steel craftsmanship, and aluminum is more expensive, you'd think this is right in-line with some expertly designed aluminum. Too expensive, but I'm really digging their work. And the ability to only mount the winch when needed, front or back - awesome. Can't wait to see the rear.
They also said they will be announcing a mount accessory for the interior when the winch case is not in use.

I honestly like the look of the bumper (well really only the full width C9). However without a hidden winch it's really a deal breaker for me. The price is just expensive - which to an extent is alright if you're getting exactly what you want. But there's still other bumpers I'd be looking at first.

Well, being in the interest of a weight-saving material such as aluminum, I opted for a 60lb projectile.

But it is a hidden winch - you slap it on only when you need it. ;)

What about when your front bumper is buried in the mud and ****? And now you need to wade out into it to not only get your cable free, but to hook up the damn winch to the bumper. Yeah, I'll pass on that. I would accept that if we were talking about a rear winch that was only occasionally used... but not the front one.

Oh that's easy. That would be one of those as-needed situations where the winch was locked and loaded already.

I like it. The bumper looks beefy and has that military grade look to it. My JK has AEV bumpers, so sadly, I will not be buying one. $1400 is a bit pricey though.

While it looks really cool, it's stronger than the stamped steel bumpers out there. And so much lighter. And the coatings they have on it, sexy.
