I installed a hypertech tuner on level 3 and :Wow1: besides a ton more hp I am getting +3mpg after a couple tanks (hand calculated). The truck is much more drivable and when you gun it, it goes! It rolls through the gears so fast. :bike_rider: and she rolls a little coal now under wide open acceleration. Handed a 1992 5.0 mustang its *** after the car show Sat night.

Leaving on a 13 hour drive form Phoenix to Tahoe. Going to Northstar, Kirkwood, and Heavinly to board. What path should I take? Should I go through CA or NV? Any experience on this trip?

We used to do the Kingman, Vegas, US95 to Fallon and then US50 west to Reno/IR80 when we drove from Reno to Phoenix (In reverse order of course). From Reno, you will be a little closer to Northstar then down to Heavenly and continue south to Kirkwood.

Humm, the house we are staying at is right next to the main gondola for heavenly... However, diesel is probably more in CA and there is a lot more up and down on the CA path...

Lots of pics

We all love pics. From my trip snowboarding to South lake Tahoe, 1500 miles of success. Had a blast and caught a crazy storm on the way home, I was in national forest after national forest, (south 395) Tahoe to Riverside. Could not see the road, dark, 30-40 mph in blinding snow for around 90 miles. Rain, snow, wind, dust... I went through it all and the max did not miss a beat. The tread wrights were AWESOME, the snow was up to 4 inches deep on the road with me making fresh tracks uphill and they were chucking snow and griping like a champ.
