I had those same 2.0vs they were absolute garbage from day 1, I'm running stock second gen tundra TRD shocks as I got them for free and the valving is way better than the money I wasted on the icons

Were the 2nd gen Tundra shocks a direct swap or was fabricating needed to install?

They are 1" longer than. The stock so I'd you have a lift all they need is a trim on the bottom eyelet sleeve and trim the top rubber bushing works perfect

Wish I knew that before, just waiting on rickashay to chime in on his feelings on the fox 2.0's then I should pull the trigger. Someone else can use these things or they will become a new door stop.

You've paid for the bodies and those should last. ICON or any other offroad shop should be able to revalve them - look to see who services ICON/king/etc in your neck of the woods. If you're having it done locally, I'd lean on ICON hard to give me the shim stack configuration/reconfig to give to the service tech.

That is my plan, this past week the truck seems to ride better, less bounce. I'm not sure if one of the shocks had a valve hang open. Either way it still doesn't feel 100%.

Today was a long day on the truck. Wiring. Lots of it and heat shrink. I made a led strip for the back glass, two red strips inside the cap and under hood lighting. Made a bracket for the waterproof aux fuse/relay box using an old ammo can. I didn't take pictures of it but I turned the sunglass holder into a switch panel. I can turn on the white or red cap lights or camp lights from in the cab. It will be nice to check on the dog while going down the road. I still have one switch open for some red lights above the back seats to keep the kids happy.

Super easy. Tons of room going up the A pillar and a straight shot on top of the fuse box under the dash. I put 6-18awg wires in there and could add another 3-4 12awg wires if I want to. Used a step drill bit on the back of the holder to run the wires into the sunglass holder.

Actually I don't think I did see your setup! Looks great! Thoes little switches are perfect for up there. I have to purchase a few more. I scavenged the last one off an old coffee maker lol. I didn't hook up the ground for the little led's and not sure if I am going to either.

As for the headliner, I removed the visor and that was enough room to sneak it by the glass and headliner without pulling the entire thing. Trust me when I say it's super easy. The a pillar is held on by the 'oh Jesus handle' and one clip that pops off with a little force. The overhead consul is held in by two screws and two reusable clips. Remove the screws and use a little force to remove it.

Snorkel came in the mail today, I don't know if I'm going to install it. It definitely looks like it's made for a land cruiser and I think it will looked rigged on the tundra.

My friend has a 100 series cruiser and I held up the snorkel to the truck and no matter where I held it the gaps were just to big between it and the bodywork for it to be worth wrecking the fender. I did the hidden snorkel in the wheel well as well as a deckplate for daily driving and that's worked well for me

Yeah, said **** it and cut the hole. A fender is cheap. Well, it's not perfect. In order for the snorkel to cover the antenna hole you have to mount it an inch lower which pushes the top out a little more. I believe I can fix it with a heat gun. If not I've got some friends that can plastic weld or I'll be getting a new fender.
