Question for the TDI folks

That is awesome! Thanks for posting the video links! How can I see the rest of the film? I have been thinking a lot about that 130. I've got some killer ideas for it. It has definitely been used for what it was intended for. I'd love to get a hold of it and do my own thing with it. The main trip I'm planning will be about 10,000 miles so I would have to make sure I know a great deal about it before I set off. If I get it you'll see it again at the Overland Expo 2012. Just gotta get the Jeep sold.

The film premiered at the Northwest Overland Rally this year, and is slated to be aired on the documentary channel sometime this fall, but no idea when. Maybe they can sell the DVD if you contact the good folks at the Beyond the Lane site.

What he and I agreed on with the 130 is a little less than what I'm asking for mine and what I've seen selling on other forums (jeeps), mine is way less for what your getting. Too many people think you can get all your labor and shipping and crap like that back when your trying to sell something.

If you want to run 75 all day long go td5. I ran one 100 for a couple of hours. Tdi won't do that, in fact once you push a tdi past 65 fuel economy drops dramatically.

I'm guessing this was my doublecab? That damn thing would fly with the tune on it. My 2 cents after owning a lot of both, nothing compares to the td5 and I have known tim at rmr for years and done lots of business with him. Stand up guy with trucks nobody else has ...

That's good to know. I've been trying to contact them for the past couple of days but can't get a hold of anyone. I've been talking to Kip but I guess they've been busy.

I was just in the parking lot of Extra foods in Quenell last week and never saw any trucks heading out on expadition....I was thinking a trip out to Bella Coola would be fun but they shut the road down for flooding so it was just back to the East kootenays for me
