And this is Grizabella, she is the owner of the house. She had problems as a kitten so the one laid down ear is bad and scared up. We rescued her at about three yo and we have had her about 11 years now.

We have this pair of ducks that visit quite frequently, although usually in the front yard vs. the pool. One day recently they landed in the pool while Scout was out back ... and didn't seem the least bit bothered by her.

Scout (18 mos old Chocolate) wasn't sure what to do, so she'd run from one side of the pool to the other to investigate, with the ducks simply swimming opposite her. She even looked back at us a few times as if to ask: "****** do I do here?!"

Finally, after probably 5 minutes of this back-and-forth, she got in the water and swam toward them ... causing them to take off. Funny thing is, she stepped gingerly into the pool -- as opposed to jumping in and going nuts on 'em. What kind of Lab is this?:xxrotflma

I had a terrible vantage point from in the house; fine for witnessing but not so good for snapping photos.

While coming back from my mojave road trip my co pilot decided to take a lazy nap, he must have had a rough day chasing grasshoppers and lizards...what a rough life.
